Nourish Nectar is an anhydrous facial oil for combination to dry skin from the late twenties onward, including barrier-compromised and reactive skin — 36% squalane, 1% bakuchiol, 2% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate (a gentle oil-soluble vitamin C ester), 2% lupine peptide complex, and 2% CoQ10 in a stack of heritage seed oils. Visible softening and a steadier, more cushioned skin tone within four to six weeks of nightly use.

A few drops, warmed between the palms, pressed into damp skin after the serum. The squalane is the backbone — sebum-mimetic, identical to what the skin already makes, the oil that lets the rest land. Hibiscus, strawberry, black raspberry, and blueberry seed oils ride alongside, linoleic-led and naturally rich in polyphenols. The oil that the cream sits on. The oil the serum slides into.

What each active does

  • Bakuchiol 1% — binds to the same retinoic acid receptors as retinol, prompting collagen turnover without the sensitization. Safe through pregnancy and nursing at this dose.
  • Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate 2% — an oil-soluble vitamin C ester that does not sting, does not destabilize, and converts to active ascorbic acid in the skin over time. Brightens evenly, supports collagen synthesis alongside the peptide complex.
  • Lupine peptide complex 2% — a fibroblast signal derived from white lupine seed. Cues the skin to rebuild collagen from the inside, without the receptor activity that makes retinoids reactive.
  • CoQ10 complex 2% — ubiquinone, the same coenzyme every cell in the body uses to generate energy. Production drops with age; topical CoQ10 supplements the mitochondrial pool in skin cells and quiets oxidative stress.
  • Date seed extract 2% — polyphenol-rich, antioxidant, and traditional to the regions the brand draws from.
  • Bisabolol 1% and vitamin E 1% — chamomile-derived calm and tocopheryl protection for the unsaturated oils.

Texture & ritual

Three drops, warmed between the palms for the length of one slow breath, pressed into damp skin — not rubbed. The face first, then the side of the neck, then the back of the hands while the oil is still on the palms. The hour is yours. The rest of the day waits.

Where it sits in the routine

Nourish Nectar is the middle of the three. Cleanse, tone, apply Snow Blossom Peptide Serum to damp skin, then press Nourish Nectar over the serum while the skin is still receptive. Cream optional, on top, where the climate or the season asks for it. Use morning or evening; daytime use does not require additional sunscreen ingredients in this formula — wear SPF separately as always.

What is not in this formula

No water. No synthetic fragrance. No essential oils. No parabens, phthalates, sulfates, mineral oil, silicones, drying alcohol, or PEGs. Preserved naturally by an elderberry-derived system suited to anhydrous formulas — bacteria and mold need water to grow, and this formula does not give them any.

Who it is for, who should pause

Built for skin that has begun to feel less resilient — late twenties onward through every decade after — and especially for skin that finds traditional retinol too sensitizing. Bakuchiol at 1% is safe during pregnancy and nursing; tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is a stable, non-irritating vitamin C form considered safe in both contexts. If your skin reacts to seed oils with breakouts, patch test on the inner forearm for three nights before applying to the face.

Frequently asked questions

How is Nourish Nectar different from Snow Blossom Peptide Serum, and can I use both?

They are designed to layer. Snow Blossom Peptide Serum is an aqueous, water-based treatment at pH 5.4 — peptides and snow mushroom polysaccharides delivered into the deeper aqueous layer of the skin. Nourish Nectar is an anhydrous facial oil — 88.9% squalane and heritage seed oils carrying bakuchiol, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, lupine peptides, and CoQ10. Apply Snow Blossom first to damp skin, then press Nourish Nectar over the serum while the skin is still receptive. The oil seals the actives in and adds its own.

Is Nourish Nectar safe during pregnancy and nursing?

Yes. Bakuchiol at 1% is considered safe through pregnancy and nursing — it is not a retinoid and is not contraindicated the way retinol, retinal, or prescription tretinoin are. Tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate is a stable, oil-soluble vitamin C ester with no known pregnancy concerns. The full ingredient stack contains no essential oils, no synthetic fragrance, no salicylic acid, and no retinoids. If you are pregnant or nursing and have any concern about a specific ingredient, share the INCI list with your OB or midwife before starting.

Can I use Nourish Nectar with retinol or with a separate vitamin C serum?

Yes, with one note. Bakuchiol and retinol layer cleanly — bakuchiol is gentler, and the two together can produce a stronger collagen signal than either alone, with less irritation than a full-strength retinoid routine. If you are already using a separate vitamin C product, Nourish Nectar’s 2% tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate adds an oil-soluble form that complements aqueous L-ascorbic acid without competing for the same pathway. Apply water-based products first, then Nourish Nectar last.

When will I see results, and how much should I use?

Three drops, warmed between the palms, pressed into damp skin. Most people use too much — a facial oil should disappear into the skin within a minute, not sit on top. Visible softening and a steadier, more even tone usually appear within four to six weeks of nightly use. Collagen-supportive results from bakuchiol and the lupine peptide complex are cumulative and develop over twelve weeks and beyond. The bottle should last six to eight weeks at three drops a night.

What is not in Nourish Nectar?

No water, no synthetic fragrance, no essential oils, no parabens, no phthalates, no sulfates, no mineral oil, no silicones, no drying alcohol, no PEGs, no retinol or retinyl esters. Preserved with an elderberry-derived anhydrous system — bacteria and mold need water to grow, so an oil-only formula carries minimal microbial risk. The carrier is 36% squalane (sugarcane-derived, not shark) and four heritage seed oils — hibiscus, strawberry, black raspberry, and blueberry — selected for their linoleic-acid profile and natural polyphenol content.
