Snow Blossom Peptide Serum is a peptide and bakuchiol treatment for early loss of bounce, fine lines, and a barrier that has begun to feel less resilient — formulated at 4.1% combined peptide complex (Matrixyl 3000 + Argireline) and 1% bakuchiol at pH 5.4, with a five-species ceramide system and tremella polysaccharides. Visible smoothing in 4–6 weeks of nightly use. Made for combination to dry skin from the late thirties onward, including sensitive and barrier-compromised skin. Layers under any cream.

Why this serum

The formula is built around an old Tang Dynasty beauty tea — snow mushroom and goji berries, sipped to hydrate the skin and coax forth a luminous glow. Both are in the bottle. Tremella polysaccharides and five-molecular-weight hyaluronic acid hold water through every depth of the dermis; goji berry extract carries the faint, naturally sweet scent — no added fragrance.

The treatment work happens underneath. Peptides signal the fibroblasts to keep producing collagen. Bakuchiol binds to the same retinoic acid receptors as retinol, prompting turnover without the sensitization. A skin-identical ceramide system — Ceramide NP, AP, EOP with phytosphingosine and cholesterol — rebuilds the lipid layer where time and exposure have worn it thin. Niacinamide at 4% and acetyl glucosamine support an even tone.

Built at pH 5.4. Healthy skin sits between 4.5 and 5.5. Formulating in that band keeps the acid mantle intact and supports the resident microbiome that protects the barrier.

Texture and ritual

Weightless, faintly sweet from goji. Three drops, warmed between the palms, pressed into damp skin after toner, before cream. Morning and night. The hour is yours.

What’s not in this formula

No parabens, no sulfates, no phthalates, no synthetic fragrance, no essential oils, no drying alcohol, no retinol. Bakuchiol-safe during pregnancy at this use level; the salicylic acid present is preservation-level only, well under the 2% exfoliating threshold.

Not recommended if you are using a prescription retinoid in the same routine — choose one or the other.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use Snow Blossom Peptide Serum with retinol?

We don’t recommend layering this with retinol or a prescription retinoid in the same routine. Bakuchiol binds to the same retinoic acid receptors as retinol, so doubling up doesn’t add benefit and increases the chance of irritation. Choose one. If you’re already on a prescription retinoid, keep it on its nights and use this on your off-nights.

Is this serum safe during pregnancy or while nursing?

Bakuchiol is generally considered safe during pregnancy and nursing at the 1% use level in this formula. The salicylic acid present is preservation-level only — well under the 2% exfoliating threshold flagged in dermatology guidance. We still recommend confirming with your OB or midwife before adding any new active to your routine.

When will I see results?

Hydration and surface smoothness within the first one to two weeks. Visible improvement in fine lines, bounce, and tone evenness in four to six weeks of nightly use. Peptide and bakuchiol mechanisms work through collagen signaling and receptor activation — both processes that build over weeks, not days. Consistency matters more than dose.

Where does this serum sit in my routine?

After cleansing and toning, before cream or facial oil. Three drops, warmed between the palms, pressed into damp skin. Morning and night. Always finish with broad-spectrum SPF in the day — peptide and bakuchiol routines work best when daily UV exposure is moderated.

What’s the difference between Snow Blossom and Nourish Nectar?

They’re designed to layer. Snow Blossom is an aqueous treatment serum at pH 5.4 — peptides and snow mushroom polysaccharides delivered into the deeper aqueous layer of the skin. Nourish Nectar is an anhydrous facial oil — 88.9% squalane and heritage seed oils carrying bakuchiol, tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate, lupine peptides, and CoQ10. Apply Snow Blossom first to damp skin, then press Nourish Nectar over the serum while the skin is still receptive. The oil seals the actives in and adds its own.
